The Forest, Beavers Bend Area |
The changing light of day and moods of the landscapes within nature develops the foundation of my photography. My images usually start with an emotion or a feeling, and then evolve into an expression placed in a composition. To me photography is a way to express myself and my feelings, consequently, the subjects are the vehicles of this.

My collection of images symbolizes different states of mind and inner forces of growth inside all of us. The challenge of this is to reveal these emotions and changing moods using color, atmosphere and shapes as well as keeping the serenity and simplicity of places and things. As a result, subject, background, lighting and mood are carefully selected.

I found inspiration for my landscapes in the paintings of Albert Bierstadt. A German-American painter who was best known for his large landscapes of the American West. Similar to him, my style involve careful detailed of the landscapes with soft and glowing lighting. My photos emphasizes atmospheric elements like clouds, fog, and mist. I also like vivid and brilliant colors .

I bring to my work a profound admiration for nature. I hope that when people see my images they can reflect and feel connected with them. The presence of nature is all around us in flowers, mountains, lakes, waterfalls, rocks, trees and animals. I want to engage people in the preservation of them with my photography.
